Hey gang. While we're waiting for the next Ubercon in October, here's another gaming con that's relatively close. Mepacon will take place on the above stated weekend at the Holiday Inn in Dunmore, PA. The emphasis is on board games, RPGs, LARPs, RPGA games and minis I'll be running board games there, like Apples, Boggle, Pictureka. and others. BTW, Dunmore PA is near Scranton, it's the next town over. It's about a 2 and 1/2 hour bus ride on Greyhound from NYC, which is how I'm getting there.

Other stuff to entice you. The hotel rooms come with a microwave and mini fridge at no extra charge, and there's an indoor swimming pool.

A nice, small and friendly con. it was quiet on Friday but got up to speed on Saturday. Also made money with a game I sold there. There will be another Mepacon November 13 - 15. I might go to that.
